1991, Charlene Gorzela acquired Mack & Associates,
Ltd. and began cultivating her vision of an ideal Direct-Hire & Flexible
staffing firm. Mack has overcome
some of the most difficult times in the industry, and grown
to over ten times its original size. We’ve built a solid
foundation based on the understanding that the strength and
energy that
keeps America’s business running smoothly and successfully
is dependable, qualified individuals. All the while never losing
sight of a common theme…a sincere desire to help and
create results for our corporate clients, candidate clients

the surface and get to know our candidates through a comprehensive

 Konvalia
Schroeder joined Mack & Associates in 1995, after working
for a National Staffing Firm specializing in Temporary Placement
in the Phoenix market. When Konvalia came to Mack, she yearned
for a staffing firm that could deliver superior service to
each individual client, while providing the highest quality
candidate. On the national level, it was very easy to deliver
volume, but the quality was always lacking. She was determined
to change that and knew that it was possible. When she met
Charlene Gorzela, the CEO of Mack, she knew that together,
they could build an organization that would be different than
any other staffing firm. Mack’s boutique style of staffing
allowed for results unique to each company. Throughout her
tenure, Konvalia helped build our Direct Hire and Temporary
departments with always the same goal in mind, superior service,
superior candidates. Recently she became President of Mack & Associates,
Ltd. Her work philosophy is driven by her work ethic. “The
success of our organization is driven by a team of recruiters
that are smart, driven and have the strongest work ethics in
the industry. They want to deliver results with integrity and
professionalism. I am constantly being told how professional
our staff is and how they will go over the call of duty for
their clients and candidates. It strikes me as odd that clients
and candidates mention this as if they rarely experience it.
Apparently, great service is not common. This is not just a
9 to 5 job for our recruiters, this is their career and when
you have a staff that loves what they do, they will deliver
